Thousands of enthusiasts of classic cars from all over gathered for a day of fun, music, food and of course. classic vehicles. Hosted by the Benicia High School Band, booster friends and families, all proceeds went to support the Benicia High School Panther Marching Band.
The event started at dross streets of First & D and ran all the way to the bottom of First Street including along the extended pier. All classic cars from pre-1976 were welcome to display and compete. Show plaques were awarded for numerous categories voted on by other entrants. Vendor booths along with many businesses off of First sold food, beer/wine, crafts and car related merchandise. Wonderful weather added to this excellent family event.
Though parking may have been a bit challenging for the late arrivals (guilty as charged), the many high-spirited families and car owners and overall vibe made up for the hour search for a parking space.
